Interlace

One of my favourite buildings...the Interlace is an apartment condomium project located at the boundary between Bukit Merah and Queenstown, Singapore. It is noteworthy for its break from the typical tower design in cities with high population densities by resembling Jenga blocks irregularly stacked upon each other. The design, by German architect Ole Scheeren somehow appeals to me. The units for each apartment is quite large, especially by Singapore standards.

Even this scaled image has a lot of details. On the full sized image with about 8000 pixels across, the flags on the balconies of the homes can be easily resolved.
