And as the Chinese New Year draws near, its just 10 days away, the HDB has put up the Prosperity god all over neighbourhood hawker centers. This is found in many of the centres I have visited recently.
A small playground lies within this huge hawker centre and market. The spongy surface coating of the playground is a nice touch to help prevent injury. Stations for the elderly to keep active is also sited at the same location, a rather nice touch, to keep generations close together.
