Ryuzu no take, Japan

Ryuzu no take is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Japan. Tucked up in the mountains near Lake Chuzenji. I photographed the image below just last year (2022) in November with my Fujifilm GFX 50S II with Hasselblad HCD 4/28 lens. When we arrived, the summer has not quite gone yet, many of the foliage is still green, with some spots of brown. f/4 at 1/20s/

Compare this to the same location, roughly the same spot where I set my tripod on, in October 2011. Earlier in the year, and we already have full autumn colours. This was taken with my Hasselblad H3D-39 with the same HCD 4/28mm lens. f/18 at 0.7s.

Global warming? Winter is coming later and later.
