Timbre+

Another one from 2020. This was also taken during the Circuit Breaker period.

Timbre+ is a commercial hawker centre, unlike most in Singapore which are government run, Timbre+ is privately held. The food is generally a bit more expensive than HDB type hawker fare, but generally food quality is curated and often a higher quality.

A Zichar stall...literally translated as cook-fry, these are stalls who offer food cooked a la minute to order. Each order can be customized, though most locals just leave it up to the cook. Often stir fried or deep fried over a very hot wok, the food is flavourful and done in the style of a typical restaurant. As the ambience is hawker centre or food court level, and there is generally no wait service, prices are more moderate.

Timbre+ also feature several food trucks which are not mobile, but permanently located in the premises.

This is a popular stall vending the popular dish - har cheong kai, or prawn paste deep fried chicken. Fragrant, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, this is the Singaporean local answer to the American fried chicken like KFC, Popeyes, and the like.
