HDB Hub

 An evening walkabout around the HDB Hub. This is right in the center of Toa Payoh, the oldest HDB housing estate. The HDB Hub is the HQ of the government agency responsible for more than 70% of housing needs of the country. 

In the central lobby, a model display of one of the board's latest developments - Tengah.




Around the vicinity, we find shops selling all kinds of goods. This is a typical HDB heartland. The ever popular Yakun Kaya Toast Shop


And one of the Michelin awarded eateries - this one selling traditional pau. The Michelin award is for the Tiong Bahru original outlet. 


And a new boba tea shop in the block. Whale Tea.
