Toa Payoh Lorong 7

Today's post is in a hawker centre at Toa Payoh Lorong 7. This hawker center has very high ceilings, and has a airy, very breezy feel. The hawker centre is also known as Kim Keat Palm, and is known for being home to many famous hawkers.

As in commonly found in many hawker centres, the "Return your Tray" counter. Many still do not return their trays, just leaving the used plates, cups, trays on the table as they leave. The "Return your Tray" campaign is not as successful as the authorities would like.

And surrounding the hawker centre, the HDB blocks feature a variety of shops selling all kinds of wares. Here is a fruit shop, with Chinese New Year festive offerings displayed in the open.
